President Wayne Avery handed out a letter he had drafted to be sent each Sheriff and each Chief in the State concerning our agreement with Emergency Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Callan Publishing.  This agreement will hopefully provide the Association with much needed income by procuring sponsors of the Association.  Marion Conley advised the Committee that Mike Callan now had the signed contract.

President Avery reported that Channels 24, 13 and 58 had been contacted for press coverage of convention activities.

Marion Conley passed out an e-mail received from a member asking for a list of retirees from his particular agency.  The agency is attempting to write a history and would like information the retired agents may be able to share.  A motion was made by Harry Colbert, seconded by John Conley and passed to release these names to this particular person for this particular reason.

President Avery was going to ask that any meals left over after the Tuesday night meal be given to the Rescue Mission since POAG has to guarantee 250-300 meals.

The meeting was adjourned upon a motion from John Conley.  His motion was seconded by Homer Bryson and passed.
