class and make a rule that you could only win once per convention. The

honorary life membership to WTOC Television News anchor Sonny Dixon, AB
Beverage Company, and Canoochee Electric Membership Foundation.
A discussion ensued on a member running for office who does not belong
to the Peace Officers Annuity & Benefit Fund. Since POAG no longer has
any say in who gets these positions, it was decided to ask Frank Childs
to prepare a resolution to be introduced at the convention whereby any
member of the Association could run for office as long as their dues
have been kept current.
Arrangements will attempt to be made for a reception for our nominees
and winners of the “Officers of the Year” at 1 P. M. for the convention.
This would give the Committee an opportunity to meet these officers and
also know who is in attendance.
The July meeting will be held July 26, 2007 at the Jekyll Oceanfront
Resort. The meeting will convene at 10 A. M.
A motion was made by Mike Jones, seconded by Jimmy Jones and passed to
adjourn. |
