John Conley gave a report on the progress of the Alcohol Free Proms. To date, Walton EMC will do an Alcohol Free Prom, Canoochee EMC will do two Alcohol Free Proms, Central Georgia EMC at Jackson will do a prom and Washington County EMC at Sandersville will do a prom. This is very encouraging as we are acquiring new sponsors this year and are hearing from some of these sponsors that they have heard many good things on the program.

President Glass reminded all the Committee members to really push for hole sponsors for the golf tournament.

John Conley reminded all of the Law Enforcement Appreciation supper at Wayne Dasher’s pond house, Glennville, Georgia on April 16th.

A company called Veritas Risk Services had presented a portfolio of services offered by their company. These services could be offered our membership for $14.95 per member per month. There would also be a one-time enrollment fee of $10. POAG would realize $1.50 per member per month income from this offer. A motion was made by Homer Bryson, seconded by Stephen Adams and passed to table this offer until next month.

John Conley discussed a complaint that arose in the fundraising center in Alabama. He had called the supervisor in Alabama and asked him to play the recording to see if the complaint was valid. He then found out there was no recorder in place. Mike Jones made a motion that was seconded by Stephen Adams that President Glass call Mike Callan and see if the recorder could be located. This motion passed. The Committee was in agreement they could like to see a recorder in place in the fundraising center.

President Glass will work on a meeting site for next month.

A motion to adjourn was made by Homer Bryson and seconded by Thomas Alley. Accordingly, the meeting was adjourned.
