Secretary Conley reported Attorney Frank Childs had drafted the
Resolution whereby you would no longer have to be member of the Peace
Officers Annuity & Benefit Fund to run for office in the Peace Officers’
Association of Georgia. The Committee felt this was necessary since the
Governor no longer had to abide by the Committee’s decision as to who
they wished to serve on the POA&B Board.
Toombs County Sheriff’s Department had asked for a link to our web site.
The Committee discussed this and decided it would be an asset to POAG
for Toombs County Sheriff’s Department to link with our web site.
Bill Morrison with Millennium Plus (Georgia Global GPS) had asked to
speak with the Committee on endorsing their product. The Committee
decided to meet with him after church services were over the next day.
The next meeting will be held at the POAG in Reidsville, September 28,
2007 at 10 A. M.
